Applicant Details and Additional Services
Next, enter first name, last name, sex, date of birth, current citizenship, passport number, passport expiry date, contact number, and email. The email address is important: VFS will send the booking confirmation to it, so it should be checked.
Additional services are optional. Among them is courier delivery of the passport, which allows you to avoid visiting the centre to collect documents. In the described case, a courier costing 426 pesos was selected.
Before payment, the system shows a summary of the data. The service fee of 1,986 pesos is non-refundable if the error was made by the applicant or if something needs to be changed, so the data should be checked before payment. Then the terms are accepted and payment is made online.
Booking Confirmation and Document Preparation
After payment, a booking confirmation arrives, which should be printed and taken with you on the day of submission. It is recommended to print documents on A4 sheets and keep them together in a single set. Fill in the application form without leaving empty fields. The form asks for two mobile phone numbers: if the embassy wants to clarify information and one number is unavailable, the second allows contacting the applicant.
Italian visas are processed quite strictly, so an incomplete set or unfilled fields may delay consideration. Documents should not be handed to the centre until the application has been finally submitted.
